I can't even make any ironic comment regarding whether he can’t take a punch. There have been 4 KO losses in the UFC Cage, not TKO or standing stoppage: Hawes has been knocked unconscious 4 times in the UFC Cage and in the fight against Dolidze and tonight the referee was should avoid him to take extra damage.

There was a moment with 28 seconds left of the round where Ferreira had just slipped to the ground and he had his face forward and planted his hand on the canvas to get up. Phil Hawes was in a perfect position to kick him in the head with no block possible. I think he doubts himself though. Now wonder with that chin.

Hawes had absolutely no class when talking **** to Cormier after he beat his training partner Deron Winn. He hasn't won a fight since and has been destroyed in all of them in the first round.

It's like a curse has been placed on him. Hawes always had the Jason Witt's type of glass chin but at least he manages to weather the storm when he was hurt by fighters like Imavov and Daukaus.

Phil has a glass chin but I think that almost every middleweight would get smashed by Bruno power. He is a little ball of muscle.
